Budding Musicians Will Love An Austin Bazaar Guitar For Christmas

Any new musician would love to unwrap an Austin Bazaar Acoustic Guitar at Christmas time.!
Not only can you get a wide range of styles and colors, but they will not cost you an arm and a leg either. Something to consider in these tight economic times.

They are not made from the same materials as the top name brand instruments but still provide a great sound at a fraction of the cost. Let's be honest, it is possible that your budding new musician may decide in 6 months time that learning to play the guitar is not for them. If you have just paid a couple of hundred dollars for a top name brand instrument I dare say you will be feeling pretty peeved off...

The Austin Bazaar Guitar is ready to play straight from the package complete with guitar strings and a cover bag. Just what the beginner wants.!

How To Fix A Broken String On The Austin Bazaar 38" Cutaway Guitars

The Austin Bazaar 38" Cut Away Acoustic Guitars come as a Set and is a great choice for the learner player on a budget; all you need to add is the practice. Not only do you get your instrument set up with a full set of strings, but you also get a spare set as well. Trust me, it is not that hard to break a string when practicing your strumming, so having a spare set on hand is a great idea!

If you do break one, then it is an easy job to remove the old one and replace it with a new one. You will notice when you unwind the replacement string that one end has a reinforced eyelet. The other end has no attachment.

At the bottom of your guitar, just below the sound hole, there is a raised piece of wood, or metal, with 6 small holes in it. This is called the bridge, and its job is to keep your strings secured and elevated as they travel over the sound hole in your guitar body. The reinforced eyelet at one end of the string is designed to prevent the string from pulling through its hole in the bridge when under tension.

Remove the broken string and thread the new string through the bridge and up to the hole in the winder at the top of the neck. Make sure the string runs in a straight line and does not interfere with any of the other strings. Adjust the tension so the string becomes straightened and under slight tension. Then tune to the correct note using a keyboard or pitch pipe.

What Strings To Use On A Black Austin Bazaar Guitar?

You really only have 2 choices, and they are:

Nylon Strings
The Nylon strings look a bit like thick fishing line. These strings can be stretched quite easily and tend to be easier on the fingers when playing your instrument. People who play folk music songs often use Nylon strings. This type of string needs to be adjusted a bit more often than Steel strings, especially when new.

Steel Strings
If you are buying a set of Steel strings, you will notice that 3 of the packets of these strings look more like fine wire. The other 3 thicker ones are used for the lower notes. These are more often steel wire wrapped around a central nylon core, so they are actually a hybrid of Nylon and Steel. These strings give a nice crisp sound to the high notes but are harder on the fingers when first starting out playing the guitar.

Just Some Of The Choices When Buying Your Austin Bazaar Guitar

There are many reasons to choose an Austin Bazaar Guitar. Lots of people buy them online for themselves; some buy them as a present for someone else. Here's some of the reasons why this acoustic instrument makes most beginners happy.

Choice of Styling - You can buy this Guitar in either the traditional shape or the "Cut Away" shape that resembles the early Rock and Roll electric guitar style. This is not an electric guitar though, it is an acoustic guitar. It also comes in different sizes for the younger budding guitarists too.!

Color Choice - The familiar Natural Wood finish is a popular choice and one that most people expect to see in a guitar. But for those who like to stand out from the crowd, the Austin Bazaar range offers you guitars in Black, or Green, or in a nice rich Blue color. Something for everyone!

Great Sound - The clear tones that come from these guitars probably comes from the mix of timbers used in their construction. Mahogany, Rosewood, and Spruce are used for the main body yet there is still a light weight balanced feel to the instrument.

These are only a few of the reasons why the Austin Bazaar Guitar is perfect for someone just starting out.

Austin Bazaar Guitars are available in a variety of styles and colors to suit everyone, such as:

  • Green, 25 Inch Kid's Guitar Set
  • Black, Full Size Acoustic Guitar
  • Natural finish, 38 Inch Cutaway

My favorite is this one:

A Black Full Size Acoustic Guitar.

This one comes with a Free Nylon carry/protective bag, strap, and some other accessories. It looks more stylish than the usual natural timber finish and stands out. Although it is a 41" full size guitar, people who bought it for others to learn on have found it does the job really well. This could be the start of a star in the making!
